Congratulations to Sarah 'Barbaric Hunter' Mitchell, second finalist in the Black Ink Society's 'Ultimate Kraken Hunter' cocktail competition
Congratulations to Sarah Mitchell from London Cocktail Club, Shaftesbury Avenue. The latest site for London Cocktail Club is a beautiful underground den, adorned with pin up girls and focussing primarily on rum.
Sarah gained a position in the final for the Black Ink Society's 'Ultimate Kraken Hunter' cocktail competition with her outstanding creation 'Davey's Dram'.

Kraken has recently joined forced with cult cinema group, Cigarette Burns, to offer the delicious Kraken cocktail 'Tenafly Viper' before and after midnight screenings of films across London.

The Ultimate Kraken Hunter Semi Final
From amongst the legions of fierce, inked bartenders across the UK, The Black Ink Society has been searching for the 'Ultimate Kraken Hunter'. A cocktail competition like no other, our search for the Ultimate Kraken Hunter entails not only finding a quaffable cocktail full of personality and quirkiness, but one made by a suitably inky, uncompromising Kraken Hunter.
The competition launched in December with the portrait of first finalist, Stuart Powick from Fifty Five Bar, Camden with media partners Imbibe magazine.
The semi final, hosted in February at Hotel Pelirocoo in Brighton, saw 10 contestants from Abderdeen, London, Leeds and Sheffield, battle it out for the remaining final 5 places in the final.
The semi finalists will find out if they are in the final if their portrait is printed in Imbibe.
